Microglia encapsulation in nanozyme-loaded hydrogels published

Our work on encapsulating microglia in nanozyme-loaded hydrogels has been published in Nanomedicine. Alginate hydrogels were combined with low- and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid or with Mn₃O₄ nanozymes, then characterised for swelling, solute diffusion and reactive-oxygen-species scavenging, and assessed for cytocompatibility and the inflammatory phenotype of encapsulated microglia.
