Evaluating therapeutic response in adult and paediatric brain cancers using patient-derived 3D tumour models
My research focuses on developing patient-derived 3D tumour models of adult glioblastoma and paediatric brain cancers to investigate how these tumours respond to different treatments. By combining spheroid cultures, drug screening and cellular imaging, I aim to identify differences in treatment sensitivity and generate insights that could support more effective therapies. This project also explores the potential of organ-on-chip technologies to better model drug responses and support future drug development.
